Here is the third contribution for my project and it has followed in the direction of musical influences. This one was a little rushed and you can tell due to Bob looking a little like George Clinton and Obamas love child but, work calls. (edit; that would make one hell of a democrat)

This is the next sketch for my project. This one was weird for me because I usually stay away from three main components for a drawing like this, the glasses, eyes and hair which are super easy to screw up. I usually stay away from portraits to begin with but, I am happy with the way this turned out and might add details later but for now I decided to fight the urge.

errday/ day 1

In the mood of the new year, I've decided to start a project I thought about most of last year. Starting today I am going to take time out of each day to make a sketch of something that has shown me inspiration. Everyday I will post up the sketch so keep your eye out! Here's the first:

bridgin' the gaps

Sun was out, wind was non-existent, clear skies, what more could you ask for? Maybe some warmer weather but, hell with it. We took a random bike ride the other day to test the waters for future rides.
Here was the agenda; Picked up BART in Fremont at about 3
Got off at the Embarcadero station in S.F.
Rode down to the pier to grab clam chowder
Kept along the pier all the way past ghiradeli square
Hopped on the back trail & passed through presidio
Then hit up the golden gate, crossed it and turned around at about 6
